We do not sell your data and do not use it for advertising. The app does not collect the device advertising identifier or your location; location data is removed from photos before upload.
3. Artificial intelligence
Interviews, transcripts, chapters, translations and question ideas are produced with Google's Gemini models. Transcripts, chapters and translations run on Google Vertex AI in the European Union. The live voice interview uses the Gemini API, which may process data outside the EU under Google's standard contractual clauses. Your data is not used to train AI models. AI-written text is labelled, every paragraph links back to the original recording, and you can report AI content from the app.
4. Where data is stored and who can see it
Data is hosted on Google Cloud / Firebase in Europe (europe-west1, Belgium). Only members of your family space can access it, according to their role. Processors: Google (hosting, AI, payments through Google Play).
5. How long we keep it
As long as your account or family space exists. Deleting your account from the app erases it immediately (within 30 days for a request by e-mail), unless the law requires otherwise. A family space where you are the only member is deleted with its recordings, photos and stories; a shared one passes to another member so the family keeps its stories.
6. Your rights
Access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection, portability, and withdrawing consent at any time. In the app: Settings › Delete account. See also how to delete your account. You can complain to the ICO (UK), the CNIL (France) or your local data protection authority.
7. Children
Tellora is intended for adults. Accounts are for people aged 18 and over.
8. Security
Encryption in transit, role-based access control, app integrity checks (Firebase App Check).
9. Changes
Any significant change will be announced in the app.
